What is Fatal Faze: Zero Margin?

Fatal Faze: Zero Margin is a fast-paced gravity-flip arcade game built around precision, timing, and risk-reward scoring. Play on mobile or desktop, master the single-input gravity flip, and push for a higher score every run.

You control a small cube flying through an endless corridor filled with deadly red obstacles. The only control is a single input: flip gravity. Tap the screen on mobile, or press Space / click on desktop, and your cube instantly snaps to the opposite wall. Survive as long as possible, collect gold coins, and rack up the highest score you can.

What makes Zero Margin different from other endless runners is its risk-reward scoring system. Playing it safe keeps you alive but gives you a low score. The closer you fly past each hazard without touching it, the higher your score multiplier climbs — up to 5×. The best players intentionally graze every obstacle by just a few pixels, threading through the corridor at maximum speed with maximum multiplier. That is where the name "Zero Margin" comes from.

How to Play

The controls are intentionally minimal. There is exactly one button: the gravity flip.

• Mobile: Swipe down anywhere on the screen to flip gravity.
• Desktop: Click anywhere or press the Space bar to flip.
• Avoid red hazards — any collision ends the run immediately with no extra lives.
• Collect gold coins — coins are always placed near hazards, requiring risk to collect.
• Build your multiplier — near misses grow your score multiplier up to 5×.
• Survive longer — the game continuously accelerates, demanding faster reflexes over time.

Game Features

The Scoring System

Zero Margin rewards multiple dimensions of skill simultaneously. Understanding each scoring layer is the key to reaching the top of the leaderboard.

Base Score accumulates automatically as you survive — the longer you live, the more points you earn. But base score alone is never enough to reach competitive ranks.

Score Multiplier starts at 1× and grows each time you narrowly clear an obstacle. The multiplier caps at 5× and decays slowly when you stop generating near misses, creating constant pressure to stay close to the danger zone.

Close Clear Streaks compound your multiplier further. Chaining consecutive near misses triggers a streak bonus on top of your base multiplier — the longer the streak, the greater the bonus.

Gold Coins award points equal to the coin value multiplied by your current score multiplier. Collecting coins at 4× or 5× multiplier is dramatically more valuable than collecting them early in a run.

Late Flip Bonus rewards executing a gravity flip within the last few frames before a collision, granting extra points for committing to the danger for as long as possible.

Top Tips for High Scores

1. Hold your wall as long as possible. Flipping too early is the most common beginner mistake. Every extra millisecond near a hazard builds multiplier.
2. Prioritize multiplier over survival. A player with a sustained 4× multiplier who dies at 90 seconds will outscore a player who survives 3 minutes at 1×.
3. Read three obstacles ahead. Elite players anticipate obstacles before they arrive rather than reacting to them.
4. Only collect coins at high multiplier. A coin at 4× is worth four times more than at 1×. Skip risky coins during low-multiplier phases.
5. Use Shield Start for record attempts. The upgrade grants 3 seconds of invincibility at run start — build your multiplier safely through the opening obstacles.
6. Use the Daily Challenge for practice. The fixed seed means the same course every time — memorize patterns and optimize your flips without relying on luck.
